This is a calling notice for the Annual General Meeting of the Club in accordance with clause 13 of the Articles of Association.
CALLING NOTICE FOR THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TO BE HELD AT THE CLUB ON SATURDAY 23rd NOVEMBER 2024 AT 14:00 HOURS
THE MEETING WILL BE IN-PERSON - NOT ELECTRONIC (ARTICLE 13.7)

- To receive the Annual Report to Members (and the Accounts for the Year ended 31st August 2024)
- Appointment of the reviewing accountants of Royal Southern Yacht Club Limited and authority to the Directors to fix the remuneration for the accountants
- Election of the Sailing Committee (Byelaw 15) - 6 vacancies
- Election of Directors (Article 5) - 4 vacancies
- Election of Officers (Article 6) - 4 vacancies
- Proposals submitted
- Any other business

Any Member wishing to put forward a motion to be voted on electronically in advance of the AGM should complete the online form:
The Club may contact the proposer and seconder directly, in order to validate the proposals which must be received by 12.00 on 6th November.
A formal notice of meeting, including the agenda and proposals will be circulated on or before 9th November.
Nominations have been posted on the Members' Portal (login required). Associated papers for the Meeting will be uploaded there in due course.
Voting will take place electronically prior to the Meeting.
Following the Meeting the Clubs annual Laying-up Dinner will be held. Members may book places HERE.
