End of Season Cruiser Supper

The end of season cruiser supper traditionally takes place on the Friday prior to the Folly Rally.  This year the super is on 10th October and the Folly Rally on 11th/12th October.  We very much look forward to seeing you at both events.  This is open to both Cruising and Motor Boats.

DRESS
This is one of two formal Cruising Social events.  Dress for the evening is reefers or jacket and tie. 

FORMAT
The evening commences with pre-supper drinks at 1830 hours during which the Cruising Committee will announce the programme of Cruising events for 2026.  Supper will be served at 1900hrs.  

To celebrate the season we have a rolling picture show of members' activities this year.  The Committee would be grateful if you could submit your photos via https://photos.app.goo.gl/tgVciVtRSePSeqwp7  Even if you are not able to attend I am sure all will enjoy seeing where all of our members have been during this cruising season.

When booking please indicate your preferences for a two or 3 course meal and any dietary requirements you may have.

This is a great evening of camaraderie, celebrating a season gone and a season to come.

Starter

  • Beetroot Cured Salmon, Horseradish Crème Fresh, Pickled Blackberries, Balsamic Peals, Dill Oil 
  • Ham Hock and Pea Terrine, Pea Puree, Pickled Apple, Toasted Croute
  • Curried Parsnip Soup (Vegan Option Available),  Parsnip Crisp and Curry Oil, Bread Salted Butter (V or VG) 

Main 

  • Oven Roasted Salmon, Roast Artichokes, Fennel and Lemon Puree, Potato Rosti, Charred Grapefruit and Samphire, Winter Pesto
  • Pan Seared Chicken Breast, Sweet Potato Pomme Anna, Buttered Greens, and Chicken Chasseur 
  • Pan Seared King Oyster Mushrooms, Romanesco Florette's with a Pea and Bean Salad Pea Puree and Basil Oil (VG)

Desserts

  • Chocolate and salted Carmel Cheesecake, Honeycomb Pieces, Salted Caramel Pearls White Chocolate sauce  
  • Lemon Meringue Dome, Candied Lemon, Pate De Fruit, Macerated Strawberry
